Day 28, 29, 30 June 3rd to June 5th 2011 – Yale Reunion

I had three days off to go to Yale for my 10-year college reunion. It also gave me three days to rest my hamstring.
It was tons of fun reconnecting with old friends and a great rest for my leg. It was also the first time that I had seen Sarah since the start of the trip and I got to show her around my alma mater. We stayed in the dorms and I almost got my old freshman year room but my key wouldn’t fit so they moved me to another suite.
I even had the chance to row with some of my old teammates, which was great!
When I arrived back on Sunday night Mike and Majid (who is joining us for about 2 wks) had set up a table beside the luggage carousel and where handing out buttons and the steps. It wasn’t that busy in Fredericton airport at midnight but they got a couple of people interested!
Another night spent in the Home Depot parking lot. Tomorrow we drive back to Plaster Rock and continue the run.
We’ll see how my hamstring fared with the break but it feels much better!
