Day 32 June 7, 2011 Grand Falls NB to Riviere Verte NB 60km

That’s what I’ve been listening to while I run. I didn’t know anything about it but I’ve run out of Ricky Gervais so it seemed like a good idea. It certainly makes the time go by faster.
You know what else I am (besides being behind on my blog)? I am one month in to this run today and getting close to 1,000km!
I felt good again today, my hamstring was holding up well and besides it being super hot and humid outside the running was great. I passed Grand Falls NB, which has a huge waterfall at the local dam. Mike ran a bit with me, and Majid ran a bit with me. Otherwise I just plodded along and managed to do 60km although I found the last 10km very hard.
I have an appointment to get physio tomorrow in Edmunston. NB, which will be good because my legs are starting to get sore again.
We managed to find a park just off the side of the road where I stopped and camped there. Majid bought champagne and we celebrated being one month in.
Tomorrow I’ll be in Quebec and should reach 1,000km!
